Domestic oil-gas exploration extends to 10,000m wells with 260℃ downhole temperature; fluoroplastic armored cables with independent patents replace imports for stable logging signal transmission.
Domestic deep drilling projects expand in 2026, with a sharp rise of 10,000m ultra-deep wells and heavy oil wells. Extreme high temperature and pressure underground raise higher requirements for logging cables. For years, foreign brands dominated the high-temperature resistant cable market. Domestic cable manufacturers cooperate with universities to upgrade fluoroplastic insulation and steel wire armor structure, launching new generation steel-wire armored fluoroplastic detection cables.
These cables pass long-term high-temperature aging and torsion tests, sustaining 260℃ constant temperature underground. Optimized shielding eliminates signal interference from complex geology. Now domestic armored cables are deployed for field tests in Tarim and Shengli Oilfields, cutting equipment cost for deep exploration and accelerating import substitution of premium logging cables.
